Bartending Workshop

This introductory course is designed to give individuals a glimpse of what the world of bartending is all about. Bartending as a profession is monetarily rewarding as well as exciting! The workshop will introduce basics such as bar set-up, equipment and glassware while also covering shot pouring, portion control and cocktail mixing techniques. There is no actual alcohol involved in this workshop; individuals under the age of 19 are welcome to register in this course!

Things covered in the workshop:
Introduction to bar set-up, equipment, and glassware;
Bar psychology and terminology;
Shot pouring and portion control;
Bartending etiquette;
Mixing of cocktails.

Location: Student Union Building 212
Cost: $35 for UBC Students / $40 for non-UBC students
Maximum: 28 participants
