HTC x Beats by Dr. Dre
HTC Corporation, a global designer of mobile devices, has recently announced that it’s going to spend $500M to acquire a 51% stake in Beats Electronics, the company behind Beats by Dr. The two fast growing brands have been working together to create superior mobile audio experiences for consumers, which will result in a line of HTC devices integrated with Beats sound innovations, available in this fall. In fact, rumors are saying that HTC Vigor will become the first smartphone to get the Beats treatment.
Vigor’s specification is leaked on a dutch mobile retailers (The Phone House) website and is found by HTC Inside. From the pictures, we can see that Vigor will probably feature a Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 1.5 GHz dual-core processor, Android 2.3.4 with HTC Sense 3.5, 8 megapixel camera, HD display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels and the Beats by Dr. Dre technology.
HTC are yet to comment and we do not know whether the information is true or not. We also do not know what exactly Beats will bring to this phone but I am guessing it is at either a good quality speaker with a relevant app or headphones.
